Nuvarande MÅL för Damien the Demon Duck
To travel the world over and spread good cheer and understanding.
Om detta spårbara objekt
You have just found ”Damien the Demon Duck”. At first you may think that DDD is of the wrong sort and evil. Nothing could be further from the truth. DDD hides his kind and big heart under a tough extirior. (Like a Marine who collects Toys for kids)If you look up his name ”Damien” it actually means: ”Sweet and Harmless” Keep this in mind and we are sure he will bring a smile to your face.
As with any of our TBs, if he gets stuck and you are unable to move him along, please contact us via email and we will arrange to bring him home.
Resan började i Oregon 2006

I picked up DDD from My Ona Beach is South Beach Oregon today. As he was not logged in to the cache yet I assume he was not there long. I will be taking him to the Portland OR area.
His paper tag is all faded it is just a white sheet of laminated paper.
He is cute and does bring a smile to Me and My Mom, who found him today.
The releaser of this bug is sending me a new tag so he will be staying with me for a bit longer. I will send him back on his travels as soon as he is all tagged back up. Thanks

I was on a late autumn bike trip from my home in south east Koronberg (between Vaxjo and Kalmar in Smaland) to Jonkoping. Suddenly I felt an urge to ”wash my hands ;-)” as the English put it, and stopped at the service station Eurostop by the motorway E4 (goes from south to north in Sweden). As I checked my Nokia cellphone-camera-jukebox-radio-game boy-pda-GPS receiver (some call them smartphones but they ain’t that smart realy, stupid as a duck as a fact, can’t do much without aid from human beings) any way, I found out there was a cache nearby to check. In the box I found a noisy little horny fellow whom I couldn’t resist, Damien of course. When Damien the Demon Duck realized I was travelling by motorcycle. Damien kept on nagging and quacking (seems he’s never ridden on a bike before ) till I could do nothing else but take him with me back home sou’east. This way he could get closer to the long island Öland (about 150 km/90 miles long) that is just outside the eastern coast of south Sweden. Could be Damien have heard of all the birds moving south for the winter that use the southern point of Öland as landmark on their passing trhu. I’ll try to send him off eastward as soon as possible so he gets a chance to see all the moving birds. Maybe I’ll take him on the bike my self, good excuse to take the bike to the lovely dirt roads on the island .

Damien and Mr. Badger
Damien and I took a day-trip on my motorcycle to the south point of Öland. I thought Damien wanted to join the other migrating birds moving south for the winter, but he didn’t. When Damien saw all the birds flying he must have felt a bit shy. All the other birds had fancy feathers and could fly so nicely but he couldn’t. Damien talked me into taking him back to the medieval town of Kalmar where we could try to find some other means to travel. At first I thought of trying to get Damien close to the airport so he might get to fly but I had to take him to the hospital instead. Don’t worry, Damien isn’t ill or so. We could just not find any good cache near Kalmar airport and it looks like a lot of geocachers pass by the Kalmar hospital so somebody might find Damien a good ride to a nice new place to visit.
Along our drive back and forth to the lighthouse Lange Jan we met Mr. Badger. Damien wanted to make friends with Mr. Badger. As Mr. Badger was not in a mood for making friends, (in fact he felt like a road kill) we continued our trip exploring the nice countryside of Öland. During the summer months the island is crowded with tourist but now there were almost none except the birdwatchers following the migrating birds down at the south point.

At an easter visit to our summer house outside Söderköping we found this black beast. I’ll bring him to Stockholm next week.
